Tuesday was a busy day for the Volunteers. The morning started with an accident with entrapment on Route 295. Rescue 3018 responded to assist Rescue Engine 2723 and Engine 4012 with the extrication. Upon arrival, crews were made available to assist with other calls that were occurring during the snow storm. Volunteers were also dispatch to a Residential Alarm System that turned out to be unattended cooking. Later on in the evening, crews investigated a Carbon Monoxide Alarm System with positive readings for Carbon Monoxide. PSE&G was notified and the heater was placed out of service. Following the alarm system, crews were dispatched to Willingboro Township for a dryer fire that was upgraded in route. Engine 3012 arrived shortly behind Engine 1613 and assisted with fire suppression and laddering the dwelling. The Engine remained on location to assist the Burlington County Fire Marshall with the investigation and overhaul of the residence. During that time, the Engine was dispatched to Burlington City for another reported dryer fire. Crews from Burlington City arrived to find a smoke condition in the residence and recalled all incoming units. This brought an end to a busy and cold day for the Volunteers.
